This handmade concert classical guitar was built by one of the Northwest's finest luthiers, Gregory R. Miller, who is a protégé of world-renowned luthier Jeffrey Elliott. Greg's guitars are in high demand and his waiting list is full through 2026. Several renowned professional guitarists play his instruments.
This instrument features a gorgeous refined sound with impeccable craftsmanship and attention to detail. The back and sides feature a beautiful set of dark figured East Indian rosewood purchaed from Jeffrey Elliott and the top is of fined grained European spruce also from Jeffrey Elliott.
The finish on this guitar is all French polish made of shellac. The guitar has several upgrades including a Brazilian rosewood bridge, David Rodgers tuning machines, and Jescar EVO Gold fret wire. This guitar is built with a 7 - fan bracing system based on the Torres/Hauser design with an open harmonic bar first designed by Jeffrey Elliott. The perfectly shaped neck is made of Spanish cedar and the fretboard is ebony.
The size is built to standard specifications including a 650 mm scale legnth and a 52 mm nut width. The instrument is in near perfect condition with no damage to the top or finish and no fret wear. The action is dialed in nicely and this guitar is very comfortable to play.
All in all, this instrument is a good investment for it's level of sound, craftsmanship, and playability and would be an ideal instrument for either a player or a collector.
