This gorgeous handmade classical guitar built by master luthier John Blanchard out of Bend, Oregon is a masterpiece both in sound and craftsmanship. It features a 1943 Herman Hauser fan braced traditional design which has stood the test of time and is still considered to be one of the best guitar designs of all time. This guitar features a balanced and rich tone with good clarity all across the fretboard and from string to string. The stunning and unique mosaic rosette features immense detail of the Aurora Borealis and Alaskan reindeer. John Blanchard holds holds a PhD in animal physiology and worked as a research physiologist for the Institute of Arctic Biology and the Alaskan reindeer herders which inspired this rosette design. This guitar is in excellent like new condition with little to no fret wear. This guitar would be perfect for any level of player all the way from a beginner through a concert level artist. The slightly smaller 640 mm scale is advantages for the player with smaller hands.
