This beautiful new eddition to our inventory is a 1997 German Vasquez Rubio. This is the luthier profressional concert model and the design is based on a Ramirez but with Rubio's own spin on that design featuring a lighter and more responsive sound than the traditioanl Ramirez design. Rubio is considered to be one of the top luthiers in North America. This guitar has been well cared for and has had only one owner. It is in good condition with only minor wear from playing and it has two string dings behind the back of the tie block of the first and second strings. These are cosmetic blemishes only and do not effect the playability or sound. The instrument features a powerful, well balanced tone with comfortable action and a well-shaped neck. 
 
The wood on the back and sides features highly figured Brazilian rosewood and the top is made of western red cedar. The size and specifications are standard with a 650 mm scale length and 52 mm nut width. The rosette is Rubio's own unique design and the guitar comes with lightweight Hiscox case.
